New Hampshire Youth Earth Summit
NHYES is an environmental leadership conference for middle-school students. NHYES is designed, organized, run, and led by a dedicated group of high school volunteers from Moultonborough Academy. NHYES is the only statewide environmental symposium for middle-school students east of the Mississippi River. Many of the organizers were once delegates themselves.
It's about high school students trying to make a difference.

Cost $17 per student
Each school can nominate up to 3 student delegates from each middle school grade (6th, 7th & 8th). Students will participate in a day of enjoyable activities geared toward teaching students the environmental importance of the Earth's water, conservation techniques, and its global impacts. The day will be coordinated by Moultonborough Academy's NHYES program.
Delegates attend several workshops, each including a hands-on activity.
Recognized experts in water resources and
environmental issues will be the workshop leaders, supported by
NHYES volunteers.
Lunch, a spiral-bound conference pamphlet, and a "goody bag" of gifts from
businesses are included.
